Knox Church is delighted to announce that we have hired a new full time minister! 

His name is Nick Metivier, and his ministry will begin on March 1, 2026.
The Knox congregation is thrilled to welcome Nick and his family.

We would like to share with you a personal introduction from our new Minister sent to the church family at Knox:

“Hello! You can call me Nick, and I hail from Riverview, New Brunswick. I’m a husband to my wife Charmila, and a father to two lovable and lively children named Nathaniel (3 years-old) and Evelyn (9 months). I grew up in the church, and in my teen years, Jesus truly took a hold of me. I studied for Christian ministry at Knox College (a school that resembles Hogwarts). After graduation I worked at a car parts factory, Tim Horton’s, did chaplaincy training at Owen Sound Hospital, was an interim minister, a guest preacher, a stay-at-home dad, and most recently I taught English as a Second Language in Shannon Quebec.

Those experiences and my love for the Gospel have grown my heart for those who sit on the periphery of church, and I have a desire to see them know God more. Wherever you may be in your faith journey, my mission is to walk alongside you and to partner with you. Walking alongside you looks like diving into struggles and triumphs over a warm beverage. It is visiting in the community park, or in my office. And it looks like listening to deep questions or hearing your life story in a chance encounter. I hope I meet you soon.”
